Kurt Salmon Associates is the premier global management consulting firm offering solutions to the retail and consumer products industry. Our strength lies in our ability to partner with our clients in bringing solutions specific to their needs—we do this through our deep industry expertise and our skills in management consulting.
Due to the ongoing demand for our skills, we are expanding our team in the United Kingdom, and we are seeking managers to work on projects anywhere in the United Kingdom or internationally.
Position Overview
Working with high street retailers and international brands, you will assist Kurt Salmon’s clients in the areas of retail operations, design and product development, buying and merchandising and supply chain management. Using your industry background and Kurt Salmon’s proven methodologies, you will help clients to achieve operational excellence. You will be providing practical solutions for our clients that have measurable and lasting results.
The projects you will be managing could be short or long term, domestic or international. The clients vary in scale but are likely to be blue chip businesses expecting the top-class results delivery for which Kurt Salmon has had an unrivalled reputation for 50 years in the United Kingdom (75 years in the United States). The projects will be demanding, challenging and exciting—they certainly won’t be predictable. You’ll be expected to initiate, manage and maintain senior internal and client contacts, and to understand and scope out client challenges and potential solutions to both sell and deliver.
You’ll provide intellectual leadership by generating key ideas and conceptual frameworks to help the team to solve problems and drive out insightful, fact-based findings and recommendations—either on a client project, as part of a sales bid or thought leadership.
You’ll be a part of the team of leaders in our business by helping set the direction of and driving forward the business, and we’ll look to you to be pioneering and innovative in everything you do—from delivering reports, engaging with the client and working in teams.
